University Event Calendar

Hi there folks! Thanks for looking. I'm getting started on a project for my school, and we're working on designing a basic event application for the school. It's a work in progress at the moment, but right now I feel like the whole construction of the situation is a mess. I'm avoiding all calendars and going with a list. Let me know what you think!
